Dr. Dan Francis, renowned in aesthetic medicine, is noted for his diverse and revolutionary contributions to cosmetic procedures. Graduating in 1998 from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), Dr. Francis has had a 25-year career spanning various specialties, including Surgery, Obstetrics, Gastroenterology, and Emergency Medicine, dedicated to offering comprehensive care to underserved rural communities.

Post-graduation, Dr. Francis, indecisive about a specialty, chose a family medicine residency at Christiana Care Health Services, seeking extended training in C-Sections and endoscopies, intending to practice as a versatile rural physician. In 2001, he joined Gaines County Hospital District in Seminole, Texas, where he performed a variety of procedures and held esteemed positions including Chief of Staff at Seminole Memorial Hospital and Medical Director of several facilities. It was here, in 2003, Dr. Francis was introduced to aesthetic medicine, completing a course on Botox and dermal fillers.

Moving to New Jersey in 2004 for familial reasons, he initiated his aesthetic practice in 2006 at East End Salon, Philadelphia. His relentless pursuit for excellence led to extensive liposuction training in 2007 under Dr. Reynolds in Florida. Over the next decade, he mastered various cosmetic procedures, earning Philadelphia’s “Best Plastic Surgeon” in 2009 from Philadelphia Weekly.

In 2017, Dr. Francis became Medical Director of Laser Remedy, Philadelphia, specializing in facial aesthetics, leading to the establishment of South Jersey Aesthetics in 2019 in Cape May Court House, NJ, followed by a second location in Gibbsboro, NJ, in 2020. His extensive experience with cannulas during liposuction translated into expertise using microcannulas for injecting dermal fillers, allowing him to safely perform over a thousand under-eye restorations without vascular compromise. South Jersey Aesthetics received several awards, including “Best of the Jersey Shore 2022” in MedSpa category, “Best of the Jersey Shore 2023” in Cosmetic Surgery category, and “Best of New Jersey 2023” Medspa’s.

His innovative approach in under-eye restoration using poly-L-Lactic Acid reflects his significant impact in non-invasive cosmetic procedures, providing innovative solutions to patients worldwide. His most recent contribution to aesthetic medicine involves a Painless Lip Injection Technique using a microcannula.
